No, being late is not a big deal. Something could have happened and you had to attend to it. I actually want to change my opinion, I think being late for school is the same as being late for work. If you are late you lose time and money from work and you will never get aqnything done if you are always late for class.

ReplyDeleteIn my world, being late is a big deal because it leaves me with 2 bad choices. Either I start class on time and then have to repeat instructions over and over again as students arrive, or I wait until everyone is present but the students who do come on time look at me and say, "What are we waiting for, why can't we start?"
It means a lot to me that you're actually thinking about this. When the same students are late for my class every day what they are telling me is that they really don't care enough about me or the class to make the effort to be on time.
