Because the movie has people that are different and you do not want us to be racist. The teacher was tryign to teach them to be good and you want to do that for us.

No. Because I didnt pay attention to the movie.

I did not watch the hole movie.

No but i want to do good.

ReplyDeleteYou asked:Why did you choose this movie? My answer is that I wanted you to see a group of students getting excited about doing better in English class. That's it. You are no different than they are and this film is based on a true story.
*You also mention not paying attention. There is only one person who can help you with this--you. I want you to do well also, so I want you to try doing whatever you need to do to stay on task.
You might try sitting by yourself or only near people who are working.
I must say, I am really enjoying your positive attitude.

ReplyDeleteI hope that, like in the movie, Freedom Writers, you have found a book that will engage and entertain you enough that you begin to enjoy reading. Perhaps one day students will be reading about your experiences in a format (like texting) that they are able to engage in.
